We will have 1 large group dressing room. This will help speed up the wait times for the dressing room line. Tank tops, leggings or bike shorts are recommended for trying on items in this dressing room.

NO large handbags will be allowed into the event. Only small crossbody style purses, or clear stadium purses will be permitted.
For Sellers:
In order to participate in future events, STB requires Sellers to sell at least 40% of their items. Sellers​ with a sell thru percentage less than 40% from the last sale they participated in, may be subject to lower overall item limit or blocked as a Scarlet Threads Seller. Additional factors may be considered. If this might apply to you, please reach out via email. We understand consignment events are a learned skill, so there will be a grace period/grace sale for those new sellers. PLEASE inspect your items BEFORE drop off! Any items not accepted or pulled off the sales floor will affect your overall sell thru and future selling with Scarlet Threads.

SELLER COMMISSION BREAKDOWN

Sellers that help run the event for 13.5 hours (3 shifts) shop at 12pm, pay 25% commission keeping 75% of sales.

Sellers that help during a Premium Shift (see schedule for shift options) shop at 12pm, pay 30% commission keeping 70% of sales.

Sellers that help run the event for 9 hours (2 shifts) shop at 2pm, pay 30% commission keeping 70% of sales.

Sellers that help run the event for 4.5 hours (1 shift) shop at 3pm, pay 35% commission keeping 65% of sales.

Sellers that do NOT help run the event shop at 4pm, pay 40% commission keeping 60% of sales.

Designer Jeans/Shorts:
​

In order to keep better organized and help our volunteer staff place items back on the sales floor correctly, we are asking that our sellers attach a ribbon (any color) to Designer jeans/shorts. See Photo for where to place the ribbon. As the sale gets busy, sometimes it is difficult to remember what is/is not a designer brand. The ribbon should make this process easier. It will also help designer items stand out to our shoppers. If you aren't sure if a brand is considered designer, please refer to our accepted items/brands page.

Hangers:

Although we will still be providing pant hangers, we will only be providing them for pants/jeans. Skirts, Athletic Shorts, Strapless Tops and All Leggings, will be required to be clipped on a plastic hanger with clothespins (see picture). Shorts will be required to be hung on a hanger with the hanger going through the back two belt loops (see picture). If the shorts do not have loops, they may be placed on a pant hanger at drop off.

Wide neck tops/dresses and open kimonos will also need to be secured to plastic hangers with clothespins (see photos for examples).
Drop Off Procedures:

Sellers will be putting their own clothing on the racks. We will have event helpers to assist you, but please be aware of this change. Drop offs usually take around 30 minutes, so please allow more time if you have 100+ items. The Items will be thoroughly inspected by event helpers AFTER drop offs. Please double check your items for stains, rips, holes, broken zippers, etc. BEFORE you bring them to the sale. Bringing items that do not meet our standards and are pulled will affect your sell thru and your future selling at Scarlet Threads.

We will no longer be taking bins during drop off. Sellers will bring bins and/or a wagon to pick up
New Tags:

If you are selling an item that you have attempted to sell before, we are asking that you lower the price and print a new tag. If an item has been to 2 or more sales, please consider donating the items instead of selling it at Scarlet Threads.
Item Limits:

Pants/Jeans (15 item limit) We are accepting only current on trend/timeless pants/jeans. Styles may include skinny jeans, designer jeans, mom jeans, bootcut, straight, wide leg, khaki's, etc. Choose your BEST 15, as only 15 pieces will be accepted at drop off.

Leggings and athletic pants will NOT count towards the pant limit.

We will be trying a different sort method this sale. Sellers that will be picking up any unsold inventory must come during pick up hours only. Items will not be sorted into bins, but will be grouped in sections and the seller will retrieve their items from the sales floor. We strongly encourage sellers to pick up their own inventory as it is much easier to identify your own items. Please bring a bin or two or a wagon for retrieving your items.

Pick up Instructions:

​Print​ Unsold Item Report, or pull up on your phone.

Check in at the front table. You will receive a sticker with your seller number. Bring a bin or wagon to put your items in. Please allow enough time to retrieve your items. We will need to be out by 7pm.

Go section by section and collect your items. Items will be grouped by seller numbers.

Once items are collected, check out with a helper. They will inspect your items to make sure all items are yours.

Your check will be emailed with in 2 weeks of the close of the sale.
